The first of its kind in Ireland, the Shannon Blueway is an advanced and easy to use a chain of on-water and land-based trails. It delivers for guided and unguided paddling, walking and cycling. The Shannon Blueway showcases a delightful system of paddling trails all the way from the foot of Lough Allen, stretching in from Boyle, meandering onwards to Carrick

On Shannon and beyond that along the Shannon as far as Ballyleague / Lanesborough. There is also paddling on the lovely Camlin River looped trail, starting from picturesque Richmond Harbour. Along the many beautiful Blueway trails, a series of off-road walking and cycling trails are available
